Soiled Dove Underground + ListenUp = Denver’s best-sounding venue
For many years, the description “Sound by ListenUp” was a badge of honor worn by such legendary music venues as Ebbets Field nightclub in downtown Denver, the Rainbow Music Hall on East Evans Avenue, and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater. Now it lives again as ListenUp partners with The Soiled Dove Underground.
The Soiled Dove is in a state-of-the-art building in the heart of the Lowry Landmark Urban Community. Long-heralded as one of Denver’s premier locations to see a concert, it has a reputation for bringing quality acts to Denver. The room is configured with three levels of tiered seating arranged in a semicircle facing the stage and generous dance floor. With each seat no more than 45 feet from the stage, this is the intimate concert experience in Denver.
The Soiled Dove has always had a great sound system, but ListenUp has helped them take it to the next level with a new state-of-the-art soundboard and microphones. “We’ve been eager to get involved with live music again for some time,” says ListenUp President Walt Stinson, “but we wanted to make sure it was a superior venue in terms of room acoustics, sight lines, etc. The Soiled Dove Underground certainly fills the bill.”
Rhett Lee, Talent Buyer for the Soiled Dove, says, “We couldn’t be happier to partner with a company like ListenUp that has such a distinguished history and so much expertise in sound reproduction. We look forward to working together on our shared passion — the best sounding music possible.”
