We’ve designed and installed audio, video and control systems in every commercial venue you can think of. The 2019 ListenUp Source Book features this story about two restaurants under one roof, Zig Zag and Meatball…
ListenUp supplies audio, video and control for a new restaurant concept
These two restaurants, Zig Zag Smokin’ Burger and Meatball Eatery, have taken over the former home of Gunther Toody’s at 9220 East Arapahoe Road in Greenwood Village.
“We thought it’d be fun for customers to have two totally different dining and drinking experiences under one roof,” says co-owner Brock Hopfenspirger. He started the establishments with his wife Brittany and brother Cole.
Brock and Cole’s parents are longtime clients of Scott Weverstad, a senior sales consultant at our Denver showroom. When the family members began their plans for the restaurants, they called Scott to create the A/V system.
“I was excited to work on this project,” Scott says, “especially because everyone wanted great sound. The restaurants feature 46 speakers in total, including upgraded Bowers & Wilkins and Revel models. There are also pendant-style speakers hung from the ceiling in several areas. Six multi-channel NAD amplifiers power all the speakers, and the whole system is run via Creston control, with apps on strategically placed tablets. They get their music via Sonos and a commercial-level Spotify account.”
There are also two large screen 4K TVs in Meatball and three in Zig Zag.
