Searching for someplace even colder and windier than his hometown of Casper, Wyoming, Mark Russell moved to Alaska for seven years. He ran a car audio shop in Anchorage and then returned to the lower 48, joining ListenUp as a field installer in December 1997. “My brother Keith worked here, and both my Mom and Dad did a stint at ListenUp, so it seemed like a good place to work.”

After nine years, he still thinks so. “I like working with the upper end equipment, and doing jobs in some amazing houses that I would otherwise never see. The best part is the twinkle in a customer’s eyes when you fire up the system up for them.” That’s the kind of thing that gives you a warm feeling inside.
