Rarely seen in captivity, Joe Benjamin is that rarest of breeds — a real live Denver native. He started at ListenUp in 1995, after five years as a burglar/fire alarm technician (that is, he worked on burglar alarms and fire alarms; as far as we know, he himself was not a burglar). How did he end up at ListenUp? “I was installing an alarm system and a couple of ListenUp guys were working on the same house. We got to talking and the rest is history…”

Joe has had held a variety of positions, including installation tech and engineer; today he is a senior programmer. “I like working for ListenUp because it’s never the same from day to day, and I love the toys we get to play with.”
