Screen size was the most important consideration among prospective TV buyers, according to The NPD Group’s 2009 TV Inventory Study. The report noted one in four consumers will be making a new TV purchase in the next six months. Among those, 77% said screen size was “extremely” or “very” important. The average screen size being considered by consumers is 40 inches, but 25% of consumers are considering a TV 50 inches or larger. Higher resolution was also important, with 71 percent of consumers citing it as  “extremely” or “very” important. Read more at Twice.
