The 200-watt-per-channel Power2 Class D power amplifier is designed for both powerful output and super high operating efficiency that results in a cooler, faster amplifier than most comparably priced products. With more than enough juice to fuel even the most power-hungry speakers, a dynamic range of 112dB (A-weighted at full power) and incredibly low levels of distortion, all your favorite source material will come alive as never before.

The Power2 is part of NHT’s new electronics line, which also features a preamp/processor (Controller) and 5-channel amp (Power5). These advanced compnents communicate via the Ethernet-enabled NHTBus to interact seamlessly with each other, sharing knowledge that regulates, distributes, adjusts, counts and quantifies amplification needs. The result is a greater clarity and purity of sound that leaves other preamp/processor¬-amplifier combinations seeming rather outdated.

With the Power2, users who prefer stereo can enjoy the same high performance benefits of the “5” without paying for additional unused channels. If you want to step up to a 7.1-channel system you can daisy-chain the two amps by way of the NHTBus for seamless operation. NHT includes two NHTBus ports on the Power2, allowing it to communicate with both the previous amp and Controller, thus eliminating the need for an external Ethernet hub.
