Grado SR325i

The SR325i over-ear headphones are at the top of the Grado Prestige Series. They are a bright sounding headphone with good mids and a deep, solid bass. Their highs are highly detailed, and they deliver an intricately, dynamic musical representation. . They can be powered by a portable player alone, but we recommend an amp to achieve their potential sound quality.

These high-performance 'phones are well-constructed, their driver being matched to .05db and their voice coils being made of Grado's ultra-high purity, long crystal oxygen free copper. The 325s also use this copper in their connecting cable. They have a flexible, leather headband and metal height adjusters that connect the hard, alloy earpieces to the headband, allowing up and down adjustment, plus 360 degree rotation. This feature is ideal when wanting to lay the headphones flat on a surface. The 325s come with Grado's standard earpad which tends to be uncomfortable. This earpad is a coarse, densely pored foam pad, which does not cover the driver--it makes a ring around the outer sides of the earpiece with the center cut out. Grado has come out with a new, softer earpad, which is much more comfy, that can be purchased separately. The 325s come terminated to a 1/4 inch plug--if you need to plug into a mini source then you will need a 1/4 to mini adapter. They have a straight cord that attaches to both of the earpieces.
